Managing the Young Adult Independent Living Group Home Programs and Emergency Shelter. Responsible for gaining referrals from Community and community partners. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and providers. Interact with legal guardian and youth through admissions/entry process and completing assessments and other documentation in timely manner. Maintaining reports in regards to census of programs, youth in programs, and completing other business reports for other business purposes including funding. Abide by all COA standards and use best practice approaches including trauma informed care and motivational interviewing. Also manage the Safe Place Program and supervise Safe Place staff. Part of Records Review Committee. Work as a team with other staff such as CM’s, YCW’s, Administration, Finance etc.

Responsible for recruiting qualified applicants to the Art Institute.Accurately and completely explain educational programs, expected outcomes, students services, and financial consideration to students, parents, and educators. Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, and determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility and then continue to be supportive and encouraging through educational experience. Provide behavioral health assessment for youth with behavioral concerns including providing diagnosis and recommendations that best meet the youth's presenting behavioral concerns with children from 0-18; birth to five experience including ASQMaintain working relationships with other stakeholders such as CPS, Juvenile Detention, and QSP's along with other staff such as case managers, CCD and SOCM. Provide documentation in a timely manner using best practice approach.

Build and maintain program structure for group home facility for pregnant teen girls; including curriculum, expectations, guidelines etc. Build and maintain application process for residents through assessments and service plans for youth including birth plans, education of choices for baby and after care.Train staff in best practice and evidenced based practices to provide most effective services to youth.Supervise staff of the home including providing encouragement and guidance to staff and problem solve any situations that need further assistance.

Provide services to SED youth through Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy Provide assessments, mental health diagnosis and recommendations to teamWork with treatment team, families and other community agencies to provide the most affective services for clientsActed as Clinical Director when asked

Assist professors in undergrad social work classes including: Human Sex and Society, Intro to Social Work, Human Development and Juvenile Justice Answer students’ questions and be available to students needs

Build relationships with the residents of the dorm and other students providing oversight guidance. Hold students accountable to rules and regulations ensuring the health and safety of the students while being culturally sensitive Oversee the operations of the dorm including supervising residential staff.
