From 2000-2002, as the New Projects Leader, I developed and launched the Leadership Institute at St. Catherine University. As an Academic Dean at Anoka Technical College I worked closely with faculty and other administrators to collaboratively lead the academic vision of the college, by providing students with relevant and high quality technical education. While serving as Dean of Academic Affairs I continued my work as trainer in leadership development for an array of businesses and industries through the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy.

As the Executive Director of Professional Training at Anoka Ramsey Community College, I directed education programs that provided essential training to businesses and organizations. I also lead the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy, a program created to foster innovation and build stronger leadership capacities in area businesses , organizations, and government.

As the Project Leader for New Initiatives I designed and administered the Leadership Institute, a comprehensive program for professional development and leadership enhancement, in innovative and inspiring environments.
