Career shala initiative aimed at providing a comprehensive career exploration platform for senior secondary school students in Haridwar. In this role, I play a pivotal part in implementing the program across all colleges in Haridwar, including both government and aided institutions.My journey with Career Shala began with the successful execution of a pilot program in 40 schools, laying the foundation for its expansion. Actively involved in initiating and overseeing the program at the district level, I foster collaboration with key stakeholders such as the CEO, CDO, BDO, and BEOs.My responsibilities extend to crafting an effective action plan and coordinating Career Shala sessions at the district and block levels, working closely with the CEO, CDO, BDO, BEO, school principals, and teachers. Additionally, I focus on enhancing the capacity of nodal teachers, providing crucial support at the school level through the presentation of demo sessions and meticulous planning.Passionate about contributing to the educational landscape by empowering students with valuable insights into their career paths.

Fellows discover what they want to do with their own lives and how to go about converting their ideas into reality.My work at Gandhi Fellowship Includes:• Field Support - Provided on-site support to five government schools - focusing on the leadership skills of 5 headmasters, capacity-building of 50 teachers and impacting more than 500 students.• Workshops - designed and executed more than 15 workshops for teachers and headmasters on variety of themes at block, cluster, and school level impacting more than 50 schools and 5000 students.• Community Engagement: Setting up forums with school teachers and HMs to increase community participation in school affairs as well as in the education of the children.• Community Project – Identifying issues of the community, developing and executing a project involving key community stakeholders, beneficiaries, government officials, local organizations and local government.
