I am a graduate of NYU Steinhardt from their Masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness program, with an advanced certificate for LGBTQ+ Health, Education, and Social Services. I am currently working towards full licensure as an LMHC at Nyx Melody, LMHC, working primarily with queer and underrepresented clientele. Additionally, I am a graduate of Bard College with a BA in Psychology. My undergraduate thesis focused on identifying correlations between identity taxation and stress in college students. I hope to use insights gained and the wealth of information attained from this journey towards counseling the relevant populations. I am invested in bettering mental health in social minority populations, such as BIPOC, LGBTQ+ youth, as well as making resources accessible and affordable. My passion for making sure mental health is accessible for all and individualized in a such a way that each person can feel seen and heard is what drives me. Experience from working on the Bard student-led crisis hotline, BRAVE, has only strengthened my love for helping people through talk and creating safe environments to exist in.
