In charge of overseeing all content produced for our Faculty’s website, supporting all 12 departmental websites, and provide training to web managers. From strategic planning to production, my work demands a high level of detail and professionalism. I create a bi-monthly digital magazine for which I carry out all of the design and most of the photography. Creation of detailed social media campaigns which has created a constant increase in followers every month. I working on a campaign for our 75th anniversary, where we featured 75 distinguished alumni through online stories and the final project of a published book containing all 75 profile stories. I also work closely with content managers across our faculty to make sure that all content meets accessibility standards and search engine optimization (SEO). - Develop marketing strategies for projects, including FPA websites and social media.- Work closely with the Office of the Dean team in development and implementation of projects.- Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency.- Design and brand all materials for events and projects.- Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.- Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to senior management team.

Social Capital is Ottawa’s first home-grown social media conference that caters to everyone from personal to business and non-profit/gov’t users. Participants are given the opportunity to meet and network with like-minded social media enthusiasts. A combination of panels, roundtables, and single-leader sessions cover topics of interest for users at all levels.As an organizer, I am responsible for helping choose topics, recruiting speakers, coordinating marketing and communications efforts, including maintaining the website.

Responsible for the consultation, training and support to University departmental managers/administrators, and their site maintainers in the planning, creation and maintenance of official websites that were built using two different content management systems.Provided portal operational support including management of access privileges, RSS and web links, targeted announcements and content coordination. Monitored and promoted the use of the current policies and guidelines for web content. Provided close one on one support for clients migrating to the CMS both during and after the migration period. Helped maintain the CMS Resource website, to provide support and information for CMS clients.

Created all designs for the NCC websites and new Intranet website. Developed all websites with the web team using Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash.Evolved into role as Web Coordinator to take over the daily planning of web projects. Meeting deadlines and budgets, and assuring the content was up to date, functional and accessible. Responsible for introduction and training employees in the content management system, and assisting them when needed. Responsible for the QA of the website and researching best practices and accessibility standards.
