Assisting hospitals achieve success with their respective quality measure programs, VBP, and patient experience. Success achieved with moving the company, including 53-for profit hospitals move from an overall composite score of 53% to 94% within a eighteen-month time span. Promoted from Triad Hospital’s Southcrest to the healthcare system.

Oversight of state, federal, and accrediting agencies with regard to patient quality and safety. Provided oversight of the hospitals risk reduction and prevention program. Liasion with all risk management activities, litigation, and claims. Benchmarks and trends for occurrence reporting and activity. Oversight and coordination of all physician peer review activities. Presented to multiple levels from hospital orientation and training to the Board of Trustees and Medical Staff. Conducted Failure, Mode, and Effect Analysis FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis as needed.

Led the hospital's quality initiatives and risk management program. Provided direct oversight of Infection Control, Employee Health, Employee Education, Case Management, and Medical Staff Credentialing. Successfully led the hospital through two Joint Commission accreditation processes with scores of 98 and 96, without Type 1 (at the time) recommendations, therefore, receiving an "accommodation" status. Other noteworthy achievements: development and implementation of the Patient Advocate Program--reducing formal complaints by 85% after implementation and improved patient satisfaction scores; worked with the hospitalist's to develop a day-to-day case management program which helped decrease the Length of Stay and direct Cost Per Case for the hospital.

Managed the Transitional Care Unit, patients and staff. Directly responsible for survey readiness, patient care, working with the interdisciplinary team for our patients to assure goal attainment. Also served as the infection control practitioner and employee health nurse for the hospital's employees.
