Combining this expertise with my roots of island beauty from my childhood gardening in my home island of Barbados childhood informs the passion I bring for beauty, individuality and creative expression. 🌴After relocating to the States, I studied and apprenticed under other floral designers an then sought to finetune my craft with study with the best in the professional field, gaining credentialing from world-renowned program of Professional Floral Design at New York Botanical Gardens (NYBG) 🌿This intensive program combines deep study of flowers,💐 plants, color theory, flower care, events, commercial design and more.💐In my recent studies in NYBG'S Horticulture as a Therapy program I am combining my experience in Floral Art with botany, landscape design and plant elements in my designs.
