• As the Silver Tea Chair for St. Germaine Children’s Charity, I have the honor of leading our signature annual fundraiser, held each December to benefit abandoned, abused, and neglected children in San Diego County.Key.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Silver Tea, overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
• Collaborate with the Underwriting Chair to manage sponsor and underwriting campaigns, ensuring updated materials for mail outreach.
• Conceptualize and direct the event’s theme, colors, and décor in partnership with a graphic designer to create invitations and promotional materials.
• Lead a dedicated committee of 35 volunteers, organize regular meetings, assign specific tasks, and ensure smooth coordination.
• Manage logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, rental contracts, and day-of-event operations, ensuring the home will be left spotless post-event.

Las Patronas is a philanthropic organization with a long history of giving. Since its inception in 1946, Las Patronas has donated more than $19 million to over a thousand charitable institutions in San Diego. The funds distributed to these organizations are generated through year-long fundraising efforts and the annual presentation of the Jewel Ball, one.
