Member of the initial team that founded the organization, and serve as the Chief Coordinator of Progress.In 2018, after nearly four years of ongoing community engagement, a group of committed Mason and Deerfield business and community leaders began to coalesce around a purpose: To identify the components of a unified community vision for the future of the MADE Region. The first step was to follow one of the recommendations that came from the Region's Strategic Action Agenda: to create an independent, charitable entity “connected to the chamber that is capable of receiving donations, grants, and other monies that could further strategic implementation and other community and economic development needs.”The MADE Chamber Community Development Corporation (MADECDC), a 501c3 public charity, was established with a broad mandate: to focus and coordinate public and private efforts to grow our region into a more healthy, vibrant, successful and resilient place to live, learn, work and play. MADECDC’s purpose is progress, to focus public and private investment on improving local places where people live, work, and visit. MADECDC’s tangible results will include new and expanded businesses, better places to live, safer and more appealing streets and buildings, transportation and access to jobs, schools, and recreational opportunities. Less tangible, but no less important, is the potential for improvement to the quality of life experienced by those who live, work and visit here. As an Ohio nonprofit community development corporation, MADECDC is uniquely suited to the crucial role of representing, coordinating and communicating the non-partisan interests of the general public across organizational and governmental boundaries.

The Fellowship for Education Attainment is an immersive executive development program that provides chamber of commerce professionals with education and tools to improve the cradle-to-career education pipeline in the communities they serve. Throughout the year-long Fellowship for Education Attainment, participants are required to develop a regional action plan that focuses on addressing specific education attainment or workforce development issues in their communities.

• Fortunate enough to work next to the Regional Administrator for the Illinois Bureau of Blind Services who was blind practically from birth, worked 57 years before retiring, and was my beloved Grandfather• Responsible for reading, typing and sending documents via email and fax, organization of office paperwork, and document transfer from braille to print

• Demonstrated my ambition and entrepreneurial spirit by contracting to coach summer gymnastics at a local fitness center• Worked with children and their parents to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics while following all safety procedures and protocols as developed by the fitness center• Managed all paperwork including payments, accident reports, schedules, and consent forms for participation• Coached children in developing a sense of accomplishment and self-awareness of their athletic abilities
