Travel patient to patient to provide physical therapy to adult patients, that are homebound, and have a variety of diagnoses. Monitor vitals, response to treatments, and medication changes. Implement and monitor exercise programs, adjust as needed. Communicate with supervising physical therapist regarding change in function/status, progress, and when a patient is ready for discharge. Provide pain relief and soft tissue management through Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage and Microcurrent Point Stimulation. Work, when needed, with equipment vendors and orthotists/prosthetist. Complete documentation in a timely fashion. Attend weekly case conference meetings, monthly team meetings, monthly PI meetings, and meet the needs of the patients through a patient centered approach.

Provided physical therapy to students throughout the Lincoln County School system. I acted as a liaison between special education teachers and Physical Education Teachers in regards to adapted physical education. I assisted in developing goals and providing recommendations on how to adapt the curriculum to meet students needs. I attended annual meetings to discuss with parents and other team members the progress students made over the year and the plans established by the supervising physical therapist for the upcoming year.

Collaborated with clinical instructors and physical therapist assistant students during their clinical experiences via on sight visits and telephone conferencing. Provided conflict resolution when necessary. Ensured students and clinical instructors were following curriculum guidelines established by the academic institution. Communicated student's and instructor's performance to department head of the program.

Instructed physical therapist assistant students in pediatrics and therapeutic exercise labs. Organized instructional material based upon personal and professional experiences for real life integration. Provided actual patient treatment demonstrations both in lab and at workplace.

I provided physical therapy to residents in a rehab setting. I worked closely with orthotists and prosthetists and provided instruction to nursing staff in regards to transferring and positioning of patients. I was also the Program Manager of the therapy department for approximately one year. My duties as the program manager consisted of managing the rehab minutes daily for Physical and Occupational Therapy, as well as, monthly billing. I led departmental meetings and attended Medicare case conferences.
