- Developing and testing low smoke & toxicity, halogen-free polymeric materials applied in industrial special cables: railway, rolling stock, mining, handling, offshore, military. - Designing the process of compounding, cable extrusion and continuous vulcanization.- Producing test plan and reports.- Providing technical support to the Cable Design Team and Production Team. - Monitoring the technological trends of rubber and plastic, flame retardants and other raw materials. - Managing projects from conception, pre-production through to completion. - Managing project budgets and keeping costs down. - Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion. - Evaluating tenders and providing recommendations. - Providing solutions to the cost reduction of mature products.- Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed budgets and time frames.
