I am a graduate of the University of Florida where I majored in Telecommunications. My main goal is to work in the film industry but I also enjoy working in both sports media and news production. Most of my skills revolve around use of a camera. I am well versed in DSLR and video cameras, and can adapt easily if I have to use one that I am new to. I have been using Premiere Pro for two years and can work efficiently with it, and continue to learn new things. I try to be innovative and creative when I edit films.At the University of Florida I was involved in Gatorvision (the sports media department at UF) where I helped shoot and edit videos, find clips for the interns, and label clips. Much of the filming involved getting audience shots for hype videos during games. Among the editing work, I helped make videos for the swim team and assisted in creating some of the Instagram stories for the football team, all using Premiere Pro. In addition I was also involved in WUFT News. I was one of the student production crew. I worked various positions starting a s a camera man before moving up to graphics, then audio control, and finally technical director. As a cameraman I often went out and shot live segments and in the audio role, I was also responsible for making sure the mics were working as well as adjusting control during the show.My senior year, I was employed at the Florida Independent Alligator as a videographer. There I helped shoot videos for events including the Student Government election, and the Donald Trump Jr protest. I have directed, shot, and edited four short films (2 of them co-directed). Currently I have one in the running which I sent to Sundance, Telluride, and Chicago Film Festivals among others. Two of the others were sent in to Campus Movie Fest
