My practice extends to legal issues relating to the Internet, e-commerce, and technology. I investigate, prosecute, and defend claims involving unauthorized access to computer systems, employee theft of data, breaches of privacy, wrongs committed online, etc. As a member of the start@Carmody team, I counsel start-ups on their privacy and security obligations in designing and launching e-commerce sites, mobile applications, IoT devices, and other technologies or transactions involving the flow of sensitive data. I provide related guidance and drafting with respect to user agreements, website policies, and technology contracts.
