He is a best friend and partner. I"ve enjoyed teaching students in a high-emotional needs and poverty area in my current position. I teach both Middle and High School and formed the local student council as advisor. I served on the Rapid City School Board for years, and on the State Associated School Board for 3 years. My intention is to be a lifelong learner, educator and mentor.I owned and managed my own company, Boyer Trucking, independent contractor for Airborne Express and DHL for 13 years. I was recognized as the Independent Contractor of the Year. I have 12 years experience in radio, television and digital marketing sales and strategy. Marketing was a fun, rewarding job. For me to do my job well I needed to understand everything about the clients I served. The knowledge base on a broad scope of businesses is invaluable. I worked as a Real Estate Agent for 5 years and real estate appraising for nearly 3 years. Life has been very good to me! I grew up having the best parents, Dorothy and Frank Boyer, encouraging everyone to do their best at everything you do. Whatever path my future takes in the future will be met with a smile and a can do attitude!
