Work with the buying group to ensure that the sales, gross margin and turnover plans are all in alignment with the company strategy.Conduct weekly business reviews with the planning and buying teams to discuss current business issues, trends and opportunities.Conduct monthly open to buy meetings with planning and buying team to understand long term changes in the business by reviewing sales, inventory, markdowns, receipts and merchandise margin at a class level.Conduct pre-season business strategy reviews as part of the development of the financial and assortment plans.Provide training and development to the senior analysts, analysts, and planner trainees to ensure the consistency of knowledge throughout the planning and allocation division.Ensure positive / productive working relationships with the buying, product development, store, distribution center and financial teams.
