Guru Technologies develops custom web apps, iOS and Android mobile apps, and other software for a wide variety of companies. That includes cloud services, databases, etc and provides ongoing support and server expertise.A large part of this role is facilitating and supporting cross-functional and external activities required to ensure success of our varied projects. Managed client projects; working with our software developers to ensure projects exceed client expectations of look and feel as well as schedule and budget. Managed our IT support team, working to improve customer satisfaction and developing strategies with our techs to reduce ticket occurrences. Managed the development team and help foster a collaborative and creative work environment. I work with the owner to continually improve our business strategy and long-term position; creating and implementing the programs necessary to bring us to future goals. Covered any other outstanding office management duties such as payroll, HR, and billing. Communication was a large part of my role with this company. The clients and developers often do not "speak" the same language and it was my job to make sure both parties understand what the needs and strategies are. Managed the task list of the developers based on priorities or deadlines and made sure the work flow is consistent. Most developers have several projects at once so I had to constantly check in with the projects and clients to keep the pipeline running smoothly.

Ogden

Worked under the Utah Attorney General's Office to ensure proper implementation of court orders. This required detailed knowledge of state statute and policy. I worked daily with employers, insurance companies, attorneys not only in Utah but sometimes nationwide, clients (the public), as well as most Utah and interstate agencies.

Worked as a Senior Account Manager for the Logitech/Harmony product development department. Worked on the development of brand image for the Harmony product line as well as the roll-out of new products. Represented Logitech at trade shows such as Cedia and CES and in daily contact with business partners.

Worked with Microsoft Partners to develop their business and opportunities within the Microsoft System Builder Channel. Worked with them on marketing plans and promotions to build sales.
