Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing and advertising plans for a US Army ROTC Brigade, consisting of 36 host schools, 94 affiliate partners, and 318 JROTC programs located in eight states. Responsible for analyzing local advertising materials and plans Developed an annual marketing and advertising plan and strategy for the Brigade and work with 36 universities to ensure plans are specific for the target market and demographics. Worked closely with a national advertising agency to ensure advertising and brand development are in compliance. Managed brand creation and design to ensure the presence of US Army ROTC is locally and nationally known and in compliance with the Army branding guidance. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the brigade’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Program Manager for community outreach locally, regionally and nationally. Community outreach is focused on building relationships with local and national center of influencers, (COIs), community leaders and educators (CLEs) and decision-makers of companies and organizations, both for profit and non –profit. Developed partnerships with various and diverse organizations from 100 Black Men of America, (local and national), Rocks, Inc, NAACP, San Antonio Community Action Committee (SACAC), Women’s Chambers, Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, both local and national, AUSA, and City Council leaders. Assisted with planning and execution of events to ensure proper marketing and advertising are done to achieve maximum presence and exposure for all events. Assisted campuses with local and national recruiting events and ensures proper selling and promotion of Army ROTC and events are conducted in accordance with recruiting and retention guidance.
