INSTRUCTIONDesign and teach “Designing your Career Journey,” a course designed specifically for students to build resilience for career exploration and confidence in decision making. LEADERSHIP AND PARTNERSHIPProvide support for first-generation student community by developing and delivering identity-conscious programming that utilizes an asset-based approach, and by developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders. Serve as internal department liaison between College Career Mentor and Internship Program team, ensuring alignment of program goals and execution of developmental program. Envision, plan and implement a Sophomore Career Retreat by working closely with colleagues to develop unique content, recruit alumnae and employer volunteers, and partner with Class Deans to recruit student participantsCAREER COUNSELING AND PROGRAMMINGProvide one-on-one career counseling focused on career exploration through a framework of Chaos Theory and Planned Happenstance designed for students at a liberal arts college with a focus on connections, community, women's leadership and making impact. Implement an experiential learning model by facilitating intentional reflection before, during and after student participation in internship and civic engagement programs, supporting students as they explore the intersections between self and society. Develop, plan and execute transformational programming and workshops on various topics including resume, cover letter, negotiation, professional networking, internship preparation, and job shadow.

MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING Managed a team of 5 Career Counselors consisting of over 500 college juniors and seniors attending 22 colleges and universities, providing coaching for counselors regarding case management and student curriculum including: career development, financial aid, degree completion and life issues. Created and measured Key Performance Indicators for student centered work across a results driven organization. Designed and facilitated training for counselors on student development theory including career theory, and career curriculum including, assessments, career exploration, networking, job search strategies, resumes and coverletters, interviews and salary negotiation. Developed and improved curriculum and resources which counselors implement with over 2,000 college studentsEMPLOYER RELATIONS Developed, managed and maintained relationships with employers and worked collaboratively to create employer-integrated programs and events for students in various functionalareas including STEM, Business/Finance, Education and Social/Human Services, Government, STEM, and Medicine. Strategically cultivated new collaborative relationships with employers in STEM (Pegasystems), Human Services (ABCD), and Healthcare (Massachusetts General Hospital)COUNSELING AND PROGRAMMING Provided counseling for career readiness to juniors and seniors attending a range of colleges throughout the Greater Boston Area. Provided leadership for all career readiness programs and workshops including the annual career conference for students and alumnae. Oversaw program development and implementation of a pilot alumni mentorship program, and coordinated the Go Far Volunteer program.

Managed a caseload of 90 first generation and low income college juniors and seniors attending a variety of colleges throughout the Greater Boston area. Provided counseling for students supportingprofessional/career development and job search readiness including; career exploration, resume and cover letter preparation, networking, job search strategies, and interviewing. Used personality, interests, skills, and values assessments including My Plan, Skill Scan and the iStartStrong. Supported the annual career fair event and provided ongoing workshops on a variety of career readiness related topics. Supported recruitment efforts for Career Partners and Supporters to connect students to internships, co-ops, part-time, full time, and Rotational Program roles.

Provided leadership for activities and co-curricular programming for 350 International students including quarterly orientation programs for approximately 50 new students each quarter. Co-curricular programming included International Education Week and 2 annual transfer fairs. Developed and implemented a campus wide Conversation Partner Program, and advised the International Student Club. Utilized basic knowledge of U.S. federal regulations and SEVIS functions pertaining to F-1 nonimmigrant status.

Advised students in one-on-one career development including decision making process, values and interests assessment, networking, connections and opportunity search strategies. Provided reflective learning techniques to guide students through their learning as well as their decision making and career and internship exploration. Developed and presented a customized workshop on decision-making using a values based approached for Matteo-Ricci Scholars in the humanities for teaching program.

Managed summer housing operations for approximately 500 residents through logistical coordination, collaboration with various campus departments and the implementation of community building strategies. Trained and supervised a student staff of 6 resident advisors. Conducted judicial hearings for summer session housing, and utilized expertise of values-based leadership to design workshop for resident advisors based on researched needs.

Provided support for annual Red Ribbon Week campaign program implementation at elementary and middle schools in Orange County. Facilitated workshops and trained site directors in effective implementation of Red Ribbon Week programs
