Process Integration EngineerTsmc Aug 2014 - Aug 2017Hsinchu County/City, TaiwanN20 SoC (Production) & N10 FinFET (R&D+Production)• Worked on all Device, FEOL, MEOL and BEOL of manufacturing process in 12 inch GIGAFAB with special emphasis on finding root causes of failures aimed at maximizing yield• Discovered a key flaw in SAS EG correlation engine designed for TSMC to find the responsible process step leading to WAT, inline, Cp, etc failure and custom-designed another program to resolve that issue• Single-handedly found the root cause of higher BJT leakage in device after carefully studying the structure (N10 FinFET), interpreting data and employing my custom developed SAS programs; this major issue was passed from another team as it was plaguing the whole team for more than a month • Developed an algorithm and programmed in SAS to calculate failure rate for more than 300 WAT parameters by statistically finding the point of inflection -
