Leading on the artistic vision, programme and delivery of a six-day celebration of Scottish and international cinema. Successfully increasing audience numbers, with strong press response and positive industry feedback, placing EIFF on a firm footing for the future and keeping the flame of independent cinema in the city burning bright.

Developing, fundraising, programming and delivering the inaugural edition of Abandon Normal Devices, Festival of New Cinema and Digital Culture, September 2009. Artists present included Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Carolee Schneemann, Nicolas Roeg, Krzysztof Wodiczko, and Phil Collins.
