Leading a team of up to 30 job-seekers, I ran two Work for the Dole programs. Warehouse/Manufacturing saw participants learn about warehousing, including inventory management, safe storage and handling of goods, goods inward and outward.Cycle of Change involved participants refurbishing old bicycles to make them useful and nice again. The bikes were then donated to community members in need. Some of the kids and youth bikes were donated to Operation Blue Santa, a program run by the local police in conjunction with local charity organisations, to give Christmas gifts to children and families who have fled domestic violence.The role of Lead Supervisor also involved leading participants in Learning Modules, where they learned or were reminded of a variety of life skills, such as time management, self-awareness, conflict resolution, and effective job-seeking and resume-building.

Transport Tyres Australia is a newly-formed company, supplying tyres and tyre-fitting services to large vehicles and machinery in the Mid West and surrounding areas of Western Australia. My position entails MYOB, accounts payable and receivables, invoicing clients, filing, and other duties as required. As TTA is based in the offices of Red Dust Holdings, I may also be required to undertake tasks for that company. This is currently a temporary position, with a view to becoming permanent.

Picking and packing customer orders. Our customers are located from Denham down to Morowa, and all towns in between. This was a temporary position, covering the busy Christmas period.Duties included regular lifting of items weighing up to 20kgs, reading order forms and picking the correct stock from the shelves, packing the orders securely and placing in the correct floor location for delivery by our drivers.
