Dr. Stone's computational biology lab studies evolution, ecology, astrobiology, and genetics. Childhood Hearing Loss Lab

The CHLL conducted speech-language pathology research related to the cultural interactions between parents and their children with hearing loss. As a summer research student, I contributed to an updated edition of a book by helping to compile a literature review. I also transcribed interviews between principal investigators and parents of study participants from Tamil to English, that had been collected using LENA technology.•Documented data recorded on the Language ENvironment Analysis (LENA) System, translated and transcribed interviews from Tamil to English for a qualitative investigation of language intervention practices.•Completed literature searches in topics related to audiology for an updated book chapter; research credit in one PhD thesis.
