I started my professional life working as a cashier at a retail store before moving onto a role in customer service. During this time, I received my Associates Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern Michigan College. In 2017, while working towards my Bachelors Degree, I started working at National Vacuum Equipment as the receptionist. I quickly moved into accounts payable and then to purchasing about a year after that. I received my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University in 2020. In my seven years at NVE, I have held roles in many departments including accounting, purchasing, shipping and receiving, shop floor scheduling, and now my current role as the Inventory Control Specialist and Cycle Counter. As of August 2023, I oversee the accuracy of thousands of part numbers worth millions of dollars, as well as, writing and training my colleagues on business procedures relating to inventory. I received my certificate of completion for the Frontline Leadership Program in April 2024 through Atlas Copco and I am actively researching other certifications in my field.
