• Contributed, reviewed and assisted in the development of a robust Financial Model by Deloitte of China and in the process of audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) of Hong Kong for the 1320 Mega Watt Coal-Fired Power Plant, a $2.5 billion power generation facility for 25 years under construction in Chittagong, Bangladesh (the ”Project”) • Closed a deal of ECA backed international project loan measuring $1.782 billion for the Project from a syndicate of banks situated mostly in China• Maintained and strengthened communication among the various stakeholders and parties involved in the Project (i.e. Government of Bangladesh, Central Bank of Bangladesh, lenders of China, Singapore, and Bangladesh, legal consultants including but not limited to Milbank of Hong Kong, Ashurst of Singapore, Sunshine of China, ECA of China named Sinosure, EPC contractor of China named SEPCOIII, etc.)• Participated in the process of negotiation, drafting, consolidation, amendment, and modification of various Project documents including but not limited to Facility Agreement, Accounts Agreement, Guarantee Agreements, Deed of Mortgage, Debenture Agreement, Borrower Share Pledge Agreement, Hedging Agreement, Direct Agreements with various counterparties, etc.• Programmed the accounting information system dashboard using Microsoft Power BI and implemented the QuickBooks desktop software of Intuit Inc. of the USA for proper and regular recording and reporting of financial transactions of the Project.• Ensured regular compliance of various laws and regulations including but not limited to Income Tax Ordinance 1984, Value Added Tax Act 1991, Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act 2012, Stamp Act 1899, Customs Act 1969, etc.• Supervise a 6 (six) member team in the department of Accounts and Finance for the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements of the Project.

1. Review and check the consistency and reasonableness of Financial Model prepared by consultant2. Provide input and feedback whether the Financial Model is prepared on the realistic assumption fit to the Project.3. Examine financial, legal, techno commercial documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial and tax regulations and acceptable financial principle.4. Coordinate with finance providers on due diligence, term sheet negotiations and documentation.5. Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Dr. Kamal Hossen & Associates, Bangladesh Power Development Board, etc.6. Work closely with the engineering team to draft, redraft and finalize various project contracts, work orders, side letters for the benefit of the organization.7. Liaise with various consultants of project and lenders to keep them update on various project related information and documents.8. Work with the BIDA to acquire permission for Foreign Loan and Registration of the Facility Agreement along with the Security Documents.9. Process the employment of foreign employees and getting Work Permit as per the Board of Investment (Now BIDA) Guideline.10. Work with the engineering team for the amendment, drafting, modification and novation of EPC Contract.11. Work with the Engineering Team to draft, redraft the Fuel Supply Agreement (i.e. Coal Supply Agreement, Contract of Affreightment)12. Solicit with the Central Bank along to process the Outward Remittance and Inward Remittance in accordance with the Foreign Exchange Guideline against payment of various services received from Foreign Consultant.13. Work with the EPC Contractor to facilitate the Import of Machineries for the project and prepare the necessary documentation.

• Preparing and developing finance and auditing policy for the group;• Installing and continuous monitoring the ERP system of accounting, payroll, inventory module;• Preparing various accounting and management report as per requirements of top-level management;• Collecting accounting and other data from the various projects and measuring performances by various indicators;• Preparing budgets for various projects;• Periodic review of various reports and budgets collected from various projects;• Sourcing finance from various banks as per the requirement of the projects and maintain communication with the banks;• Periodic review of bank accounts and preparing bank reconciliation statement;• Checking accounting related software entry from various departments and correcting them if needed;• Preparing monthly payroll statement for the group and seek approval from the management;• Preparing various Directors' reports as per the requirement of the directors.

• Prepare an organizational profile, audit strategy memorandum, risk analysis, internal control questionnaire• Select an effective audit team and to brief them about the assignment• Identify the nature and extent of the analytical procedure and substantive procedure, to perform the walk-through test and select materiality level• Update the audit program based on the nature, activities and financial involvement of the organization and to prepare operational flow• Discuss with the management of the client about audit issues and observations• Prepare audit and other forms of reports for the perusal of the partners.
