Shibil Siddiqi is a Founding Partner at Progressive Barristers PC, a Toronto law firm deeply committed to access to justice. He practices Human Rights law, Employment law, and Landlord/Tenant law, and conducts Workplace Investigations. Shibil is an experienced trial and appellate litigator and has appeared before all levels of the court in Ontario and a variety of administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and the Landlord & Tenant Board. As a member of the Equity Advisory Group, Shibil advises the Law Society of Ontario on equity, diversity and inclusion issues.In his life outside law, Shibil is a proficient drummer and bass-player, a moderately successful father and husband, and a terrible guitar and ukulele player.
