About Michael Scheidle
Find me on Youtube at my channel for security personnel and follow my career at: https://www.youtube.com/@Shieldel! At 20 years old, I had a drastic change in my life when I found myself in the middle of the worst mass shooting in modern US History. I am a survivor of the 2017 Las Vegas, Route 91 Harvest Festival - Jason Aldean Shooting. It was that night that made me realize my life as a "teen", as a young adult was over, and I had to buckle down and take charge of my life. I am a private security, physical security specialist as of 2017 when I got my first security job immediately following that night. I do what I do now to ensure nobody else has to go through what I went through. I have a deep passion, love, and strive to become a subject matter expert and a competent professional in everything that comes into this profession. From 2011- 2018 I was a member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary, I was a Civil Air Patrol Cadet in my teens and achieved the rank of Cadet 1st Lieutenant and commanded a detachment of civilian cadets on Nellis AFB, NV. Concurrent to that I was a Las Vegas Metro PD Explorer. In 2016 I received a FEMA Internship and found myself in the middle of the Louisiana 1000 Year Flood & the ensuing hurricane season immediately thereafter. Providing admin services and professional concierge assistance to FEMA Personnel deploying on disaster. Within private security, I have close to 3-4 years of federal security experience, by way of being a TSA Officer, and then an FAA Security Contractor. I have plainclothes security experience, providing services to FAA HQ executives and local execs, was trained by USSS and DSS federal law enforcement in personal security - have worked HOA's, have worked mobile/vehicle patrol, have worked alarm responses, have worked malls and retail, worked commercial sites, worked businesses, worked concierge security, and my favorite work of all - working in a GSOC running threat investigations and OSINT research.Within my private security career in 2024 I broke into the most elite security niche, the most difficult and competitive to get into, that being of executive protection: I started in this niche on a 3 day detail providing close/executive protection, low signature services to an undisclosed watch company’s executive, work I thoroughly enjoyed. My most recent EP detail was in October providing plainclothes emergency response and incident commander duties to a local Las Vegas branch of an international news organization (clients will never be directly named in my interactions on LinkedIn)

Deployed to FEMA-DR-4277-LA, the Louisiana "1,000 Year Flood" that made national news. Was assigned to AmeriCorp's Atlantic Region, placed into a "junior IMAT" under a full-fledged federal FEMA IMAT. While on disaster I was assigned Planning due to past experiences with the USAF Auxiliary. While working in the resources unit during 4277, I was single handedly responsible for all of the MS Office documents. All MS Docs were created, approved, or vetted and proofread by me. Of note, I was single handedly responsible for creating the affected area/flood zone excel chart that all other disaster teams used to create their own materials (IE, GIS used this excel chart to extrapolate areas and then placed their own GIS intel on top of a graphic map). This excel chart was distributed to all federal and state entities and partners actively on disaster.
