I was also a primary contributor to the technoeconomic model and led in VEIR's ARPA-E (US Department of Energy) project, among other responsibilities. Zero-Carbon Energy Research and Optimization Lab:• Evaluation of low-carbon natural gas plant designs for ARPA-E (FLECCS program) with Princeton/MITei’s GenX grid cost model.

• Superconducting electromagnet simulation/analysis codes; engineering team. Magnet design is CFS's primary differentiating factor: use of high(er)-temperature superconductors enables smaller (cheaper) reactors.• Pre/post-processing of α radiation codes on NERSC (Cori supercomputer); physics team. α particles (helium nuclei), fusion products, are a primary radiative load on the inner walls of the reactor, determining divertor design.CFS (MIT) intends to produce a test reactor with net power production by 2025.

Carbon Fibre Technologies (subsidiary):• Aided in modeling and production of a seven-meter blended-body UAV (carbon fiber, s-glass, honeycomb, Kevlar, etc.).

• Wrote basic MATLAB scripts to calculate optimal (≈quietist) overland flight paths for low-boom supersonic aircraft in joint project with Skunk Works (X-59).
