I believe that art should induce an altered state. Dubbed “Priestess of the Night” by The New York Times, I am a lifelong conjuror of otherworldly experiences, uniting audiences through shared awe and wonder, always pushing the boundaries of creative expression. In 2023, I created The Red Pavilion in Bushwick as a beacon of AAPI culture and community resilience in response to the escalating wave of violence targeting the AAPI community. I see entertainment as a powerful tool for change - it builds bridges, breaks down barriers, and invites us to play with abandon, deepening bonds within community and inspiring positive social change."Art comes out of wonder, not of knowing."
