However, in retrospect, although the ideas in both cases were very good, I think, they could not be commercialized because they were too early and did not match the needs of the acceptance of people. The first is Global Internet Telephone Service. I spent two years by myself installing Asterisk, an OSS, connecting with VOIP carriers in the US, and creating billing functions, but around 2005, VOIP was not yet accepted in the Japanese market. The second is the launch of independent mobile phone companies using the MVNO system, which the government has just launched to speed up competition among mobile phone operators. Mobile wireless access networks can be used at low prices, so all you need to create a service isAll they had to do was install a trunk telephone exchange to connect to the existing commercial telephone network. I had one investor who committed to investing $3 million. We also had the prospect of securing engineers from the telephone company. My business plan consists of $7 million, so I needed another $4 million. I was visiting many VCs and investors, but the economy was bad at the time, and I spent two years without being able to get any additional investors. Since I am running out of money, I have to decide to work for some company. At that time, no one knows the system MVNO, so nobody undestood the idea. It was too early I thought. Show less
