Developed expertise in test automation that uses Python to build test cases in area of hardware configuration/component validation, SAN FC/ISCSI target(Solaris)/initiator-client (Linux, Solaris, Window) set up, I/O performance monitor, RESTful management API routing, fault management, and log collection. • Created Mysql DB schema tracking/correlating hardware parts, models, and information updates. • Assisted field service engineers in establishing customer storage GRID network structure to achieve maximum throughput. • Published and documented performance of product Virtual Storage Manager (VSM) against perspective IBM mainframe customer workload characteristics such as dump, backup, restore and HSM etc. • Performed hardware fault analysis, kernel debug and performance troubleshooting. Worked on Virtual Storage Manager (VSM), Virtual Extend Library (VLE) product software development written in "C" programming language base Solaris on both SPARC and X86 platforms. Designed interface base IBM FICON SB protocol for host initiator and controller(target). Architect volume management to stripe data across flash storage SSD devices with multi-path features along with parallelism written to ZFS file system to speed write performance and further implemented replay logic to reconstruct data while node failed. Provided service utility tool to discover hardware component, cable connection, system upgrade and creating data pool on discovery . Analyze hardware component faults, troubleshooting performance bottleneck and provide field/customer in-depth solution on component replacement, upgrade, and performance tuning. Creating ERASE tool written in "JAVA" follows DoD standard that erased data completely in time manner to help move data content securely. In January 2010, Oracle purchased Sun Microsystems.

Designed channel adapter interfaces base on ESCON, Fibre Channnel, FICON protocol for StorageTek disk products (Iceberg SVA, AlPINE). Developed hybrid disk storage interfaces that managed both IBM 3990 Disk command set and open SCSI command set. • Worked on team to provide peer to peer remote copy, snapshot functionalities on SVA product. Provided marketing product release material for competitive analysis of disk storage product Iceberg, Tape library 4400 performance and reliability. Developed FCP management as SCSI target and initiator using "C++" on RAID disk backup product Ocelot. Team leader to organize activities, coaching for system modeling. In June 2005, Sun Microsystems purchased StorageTek.
