Sudanese German project on the role of art in crisis.In times of crisis in Sudan and while Germany is struggling with socio-political shifts, a global state of emergency was declared due to COVID-19. With the aim to discuss the role of the arts during crisis and to bring together artists and creatives in Sudan and Germany, the project SUDAN MOVES was initiated. A platform for exchange, networking and coproduction was created, supporting and accompanying artists and creatives during these exceptional times. Sudanese and German artists get together during a residency in September and October 2020, produce a podcast and an exhibition reflecting on current struggles and discourses. Due to the lack of mobility, border closures as well as inaccessibility of cultural spaces, the whole project is based in the digital sphere. The project is coordinated and funded by the Goethe-Institut Sudan in collaboration with the Kunsthalle am Hamburger Platz/Weißensee Academy of Arts, Art Kanoon , ElMastaba TV , The Urban Episode and Rift Digital Lab.مشروع سوداني ألماني حول دور الفن في الأزمة.في ظل الأزمات في السودان، وأثناء مكافحة ألمانيا للتحولات السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، تم إعلان حالة طوارئ صحية عالمية عقب الانتشار الغير مسبوق لفيروس كورونا المستجد.من رحم هذه الأوقات الصعبة خرج مشروع (السودان يتحرك)، مشروع يجمع بين فنانين ومبدعين سودانيين وألمان من أجل مناقشة أهمية ودور الفن في زمن الأزمات والأوبئة.تم إنشاء منصة للتبادل والتواصل والإنتاج المشترك، ودعم ومرافقة للفنانين والمبدعين خلال هذه الأوقات الاستثنائية. حيث يجتمع الفنانون السودانيون والألمان خلال فترة إقامة فنية رقمية في الفترة بين سبتمبر وأكتوبر2020، بغرض انتاج بودكاست ومعرض يعكس الصراعات والخطابات الحالية.بسبب مشكلة السفر والتنقل وإغلاق الحدود وكذلك عدم إمكانية الوصول إلى المساحات الثقافية، فإن المشروع بأكمله قائم على الانترنت.المشروع من تنسيق وتمويل معهد جوته السودان بالتعاون مع أكاديمية "Weißensee" للفنون، "Rift Digital Lab" و ،"The Urban Episode" و " ElMastaba TV " و "Kanoon Art Publishing".
