• I have got the opportunity to work as a software engineer for the Research & Development unit of Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd. I joined the mobile division at Noida in June 2013 and worked there for 14 months as a part of Telephony team.• As a team, we had several responsibilities like developing the new feature of the telephony module for smartphones, tablets, cameras and other wearable devices. Being a proficient member of Radio Interface Layer (RIL), Call UI & FactoryApp teams, I have dealt with UART, AT commands, secret codes, manufacturing process tests, various tools, Operator based requirements, etc.• Also, I have contributed to Samsung IP (Innovation and patent). I have suggested several innovative ideas like smart screen locks, DTMF based text passing while ongoing call etc. for enhancement of high-end mobile devices.• A tangible success of our contribution can be seen in an automotive tool that we developed for Delta work. As a team, we developed this tool to automate this process for projects of all regions (U.S, EURO and others). The tool helps to reduce the man-hour time from 5-6 hours to 2 minutes.
