About Shilpa M.

A high energy take-charge leader passionate about “revolutionising” impact sector fundraising, compassionate giving, and scaling collaborations for creating an equal world order. As the Director of Fundraising at Bhumi, one of India's largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organizations, I head strategy and execution of Fundraising and donor engagement across institutional, HNI, and retail segments. With over 14 years in the social impact space, I have enabled/raised over 200 crores (2000 million) positively impacted over 30 lakh (3million) lives through my work. With ownership and care, I am building (and have built) collaborative, high performing teams driven by the mission of empowering and uplifting individuals and communities through our work.I see that one aspect of my life’s purpose being met through deep rooted, sustainable and scalable impact that transforms grassroots and reduces inequities. For the other aspects I love social networking, being inspired and inspiring, meeting new people, intentionally investing in professional and personal connections for long term.
