I have worked and volunteered in health care industry most of my life because I like to help. At present I work as a Wellness Ambassador with Rite Aid pharmacy.I love this position because it has given a wide variety of experience and a huge platform.People wonder what does "Wellness Ambassador" mean? My answer is,"as soon as you walk through that door, your well being is my Priority."​ I work out of the pharmacy. I report to my pharmacy manager but I also act as a liaison between front end and the pharmacy to ensure smooth function. You may find me inside the pharmacy making announcements for immunizations or ringing up customers in case of long line or assisting pharmacists with other pharmacy related tasks to ensure smooth operation.You may see me by the drug isle helping customer find a product, or you may see me helping someone at the front of the store. You may see me enrolling some seniors in our special promotions on my i-pad. Community outreach is a major part. I establish contacts with businesses,schools, senior facilities and give out information about what our pharmacy has to offer. With the help of our wonderful pharmacist and the staff, I establish different healthcare events and immunization clinics. I initiate insurance & billings through our online system for the clinics and make sure to get reimbursed accordingly. These clinics are major responsibility but lot of fun and very rewarding. My job is to make sure our pharmacy customers are updated with their immunizations as well. I try to contribute some time for my local community to make it a better place to live. I am a O+ blood donor, Red Cross's favorite:) We are on this earth for a reason and we all have our uniqueness which we can use to bring greater goodness for this world! It takes one person only and a random act of kindness, that is all we need! I have found my passion and that is to help people and bring positive difference in their lives!
