NLP eComm Surveillance project with Palantir Platform: Helped with a project that integrated Natural Language Processing to the current surveillance system. I was exposed to cutting edge technologies in the machine learning and natural language processing space and worked on a project that had a major impact to the firm.Commercial Bank Project: I had to write a fuzzy string matching algorithm in Java for the mapreduce framework to match names in the J.P. Morgan internal Database with external databases like Dun and Bradstreet, Inc5000 etc. I also wrote scripts in Apache PigLatin to run the user defined function for fuzzy matching, on the Apache Pig platform, in a hadoop environment.

Developed a website relating to Social Customer Relationship Management. The website monitored the company's mentions on social media along with a graphical representation of the same over a specific time line. I implemented this by learning and using C# and ExtJS. The webpage consisted of panels dedicated for each social medium like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & Youtube. The panels depicted the number of mentions as well as links to mentions and posts. Apart from the task of collecting the company's mentions over social media the application also analyzed positive and negative sentiments concerned with these mentions and portrayed the analytics in graph form for quick and easy understanding and analysis.
