As Head Corporate Communications and Member of ESL Steel’s Executive Committee, my role involves helping build the steel brand’s goodwill and reputation by delivering effective, end-to-end communication solutions - from strategy to planning, execution and tactical outreach, and from measurement to calibration. - Effectively lead Media Relations (National & Regional), Crisis Management, Social & Digital Media, Internal Communication, Advocacy Communication, CSR & Social Communication, Product & Marketing Communication, and Advertising & Branding operations.- Set a consistent, integrated communications strategy & roadmap for ESL Steel in line with Vedanta Group’s Corporate objectives. - Manage media relations both nationally and regionally, in our area of operation and market geography. - Drive B2B, B2C and B2SME communication. Design and execute Product-Centric brand campaigns in Target Markets. - Build Advocacy around issues plaguing the iron & steel industry, and help create a favorable policy environment. - Ensure strategic Stakeholder Communication by driving brand narratives for various audiences – employees, investors, bureaucrats, industry bodies, government, investors, policymakers, media, communities, and all other external influencers.- Work closely with Human Resources team in carving a stronger employer brand, creating internal brand custodians, and attracting top talent.

Working with India’s first furniture and furnishing e-retailer under the leadership of the cofounders of Cars24 - Vikram Chopra & Mehul Agarwal - was quite an enriching one. The company was later acquired by the Future Group. I led the communications and content function at FabFurnish supported by a team of social media experts, content writers and PR executives.
