Contributing to Microsoft 365 commercial business’ growth strategy. Defining technology enabled productivity measures to help customers maximize the value derived from their investment in the world’s leading cloud productivity platform - Microsoft 365

I was the product owner for delivering usage analytics to Office 365 administrators to enable them to maximize the utilization of their investment in Office 365. Designed a system for ingesting user activity data signals from all applicable Office 365 products (such as Exchange, Skype for Business, OneDrive, SharePoint, Yammer, Office, Microsoft Teams, Office 365 Groups etc), transforming and curating this data into meaningful information for actionability to enable customers to improve the adoption of the Office 365 services they provide to their users. The Office 365 Usage Analytics in Power BI product targeted ITDMs with rich analytic capability at their disposal to understand utilization of Office 365 in their organization. Both these products have been a huge success with Office 365 customers and has evolved into business critical data that our customers rely on for driving their business

In this role my test team was responsible to deliver a high quality Microsoft Planner Web App. Planner was a new lightweight task service product that the Microsoft Project team was bringing to market to appeal to users that didn't need highly sophisticate capabilities of Microsoft Project product but needed the ability to quickly capture tasks and be aware of progress on short term projects and deliverables. My team was responsible for delivering the web app that was a companion to the mobile and desktop apps. Collectively we obsessed on understanding behaviors of an engaged user and ensuring we delivered a highly available and error free experience for our users.

Led the team that delivered Microsoft Projects lightweight project management solution integrated into SharePoint. Drove the concept of real world, cross product integrated scenario testing across Office division and then across several divisions in Microsoft. Won an engineering excellence award for my contribution to Scenrario focused engineering in Microsoft

Led the core platform team to deliver Microsoft Project's extensibility capabilities., Drove functional testing for several parts of Microsoft Projet product. Also managed the entire Sustained engineering pipeline for Project to ensure customers were able to be get resolution to thier support incidents in a timely manner

Joined Microsoft Project team as a test engineer adn delivered high quality test results in Project Cube building to enable multi dimensional rich reporting on Projects.

As a Team lead, Worked closely with customer - Primestreet Lending an online consumer loan website - to define requirements, convert requirements to specs, drive architecture decisions, and implementation plans, validation and user acceptance tests. Enjoyed working on the entire end to end of the program. The website was built using ASP, SQL, and the system called into public APIs of credit scoring companies like Fair Issac, Equifax. We built an automated structuring of consumer loan terms.

Through Unique Computing I consulted with 1. Standard and Poor's - Was part of a team which was responsible for developing the Data munging application which processed daily Bloomberg feeds and transformed the data and loaded it into S&Ps own db for their Financial analysts to consume for analysis and predictions. The system was being built using C and SQL2. Citigroup - Led the project to do similar data munging of stock exchange data feed and preparing data for analytics. The system was developed using C++ and the data warehouse was in SQL.

Worked on several projects for different clients1. Through an alliance between Tata Unisys and Tata Consultancy worked for GE Appliances to build their online web site for placing orders for their product. Worked end to end on designing/implementing/validating and finally after User acceptance testing, deploying final solution to production onsite. Worked very closely with customer to meet their needs for the app. 2. Worked for VSNL, India's biggest telephone network provider to convert their legacy HR system into a SQL + forms based application. This required integration with their active directory system as well as their financial system. Started as an individual contributor to this project and quickly grew to leading the customer interaction and bringing in requirements for team to execute on. Was responsible for Implementation and User Acceptance Testing.
