• Provide transport service to Emory University/Ethiopia project staff and guests.• Provides logistical support and other routine tasks to the office.• Settles the organization’s utility expenses and various insurance payments.• Distributes project’s correspondences to various organizations, collects and mails letters to and from the post office and daily newspapers.• Ensures that project equipment, training materials are handed over to the appropriate field staff and make sure that project properties are returned.• Take responsibility to follow-up the validity of the third party insurance cover and annual inspection.• Cleans and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean and usable at all times.• Checks oil, fuel, water, tires, brakes and other electrical systems before starting driving the car.• Follows up maintenance need of the vehicle and promptly reports back to immediate supervisor.• Record all travels made on the log sheet daily.• Make sure to wear seat belt and always asks and make sure that passengers wear seat belt.• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Pick up passengers from their homes, offices, and other locations, and assist them with their luggage.• Drive defensively to ensure safety.• Make sure there is always enough gas to get to the destination.• Keep accurate count of gas usage, miles, and other data.• Accurately follow the correct route.• Inspect vehicle to ensure that it’s operating properly.• Make sure the vehicle is clean inside and out.• Greet their passengers in a friendly way.• Help old or disabled people onto the vehicle.• Drive cautiously to the destination.• Obey the rules of the road.• Make sure passengers are safe at all times.• Make sure luggage is packed correctly and safely.• Be a tour guide when necessary.

• Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations.• Check the assigned rental car to ensure that it is in good working order and capable of running the assigned route.• Inspect cars to ensure that they are clean and perform any detailing work required.• Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, by helping them in and out of the car.• Drop passengers off at their required destinations.• Perform regular and preventative maintenance and repair on assigned cars.• Arrive at destinations on schedule.• Interact with clients professionally at all times.• Ensure that the vehicle is always fuelled and ready for use.• Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date.
