I am Shimol Philip, a passionate Civil Engineer with a strong academic background and a passion for research. I completed my B. Tech in Civil Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala, India in 2019, graduating with 8.41 CGPA. Following my passion for advanced studies, I pursued an M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geomechanics and Structures from Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam (Autonomous), Kerala (APJ KTU), India achieving a remarkable 9.57 CGPA.My commitment to academic excellence is reflected in my achievements, as I secured the First Rank in Geomechanics and Structures from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University for 2019-2021. Additionally, I was honoured as the Best Outgoing M.Tech student across all programs at Saintgits College of Engineering (Autonomous) for the academic year 2020-21. I am pursuing a PhD in Structural Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Karaikkal, Puducherry, India. My research focuses on sustainable construction materials, with specific interests in geopolymer concrete, the application of machine learning in geopolymer concrete property prediction, fracture characteristics of geopolymer concrete, and soil-structure interaction of box culverts.I am enthusiastic about contributing to structural engineering and look forward to collaborating with professionals who share similar interests.
