CAREER SUMMARYIn 1989 joined Recruit and achieved high performance in sales of recruiting advertisement business. In 1994, transferred to the New Business Development office, and launched a game information magazine, and led Recruit’s new area entertainment business.In 2001, transferred to Magclick, an internet advertising agency business (currently GMO Ad Partners: JASDAQ4784), and in 2006 appointed as a Managing Director.Developed Magclick (currently GMO Ad Partners) from a single product advertisingwholesales business (rep) to a media business focusing on advertising agency business and ad tech business (technology to streamline ad delivery) to achieve profit maximization of the business group in internet advertising.As a result, developed the company into a leading company within the net advertising industry by growing the number of employees from 27 persons upon my joining of the company to 826 persons at retirement as director, sales to 23.7 billion yen, and profits to 650 million yen.Was appointed Chairman in March 2015 and retired in March 2016.In April 2016, joined Indeed Japan as Representative Director / Head of Sales Japan.In October 2017, promoted to Representative Director / General Manager / Head of Sales Japan.In June 2020, stepped aside as Representative Director and currently a board director.Tenure is 4 years and 3 months with the major results as follows;From 2015 (just before my appointment) to 2019, sales have increased by about 7 times at a dash, which acquired a bigger market share.Headcount has grown to approximately 20 times (excl. the global tech team)※actual numbers cannot be disclosedFor the member recruitment to form each organization in sales, TA, and marketing, established each function from the ground up with the cooperation with the global team. In 2017, introduced a GM structure that is unique to Japan's organization and was appointed GM of Japan. Developed Japan's unique strategy and scheme of proposing the plans to the global, which was very successful.In sales, developed a unique sales strategy for Japan and achieved explosive sales growth. Established a network of 200 Japan-specific reseller agencies that resulted in a significant expansion of sales.
