It is concerned with issues such as life long learning including ICT, employment opportunities for older workers, volunteering, the the better provision of good services for those needing care and their carers, in adequate incomes for all pensioners - and in opportunities that older people should have to be full citizens, enjoy themselves and contribute to Greek society.A lack of core funding, the not for profit company status, the lack of interest in the rights of older people eg as older workers or as people needing support for social inclusion or long term care, makes it difficult to survive. This is not just a matter of the current Greek crisis.
