Quality Assurance Specialist
Current●Assist in designing and develop technical drawings, specifications for electrical systems in existing and new schools in New York City in accordance NEC, NFPA and NYC building code● Prepare construction drawings from preliminary design phase up to completion and filing for approval with building Code Compliance ● Review shop drawing, answer contractor questions (RFI’s)● Design public address (PA), auxiliary bell, low & high riser building fire alarm system, security camera system, LAN system, Telephone system and intrusion system for the school building● Assist in designing Power distribution, short circuit calculations, lighting (House, security, exit & emergency) for the building● Review and respond to contractor submittals of lighting fixtures, control devices, sensors, etc.● Assist in developing lighting layout for educational spaces, places of assembly such as gymnasium, auditorium, and offices using point-by-point calculation, in compliance with the NYS Energy Code (NYS ECCC) and USGBC● Write detailed scope reports and review estimates for Capital Improvement Project (CIP)● Assist in monitoring the progress of the construction phase of the project ● Conduct the site observations and meeting, and prepare site survey reports● Edit specifications for each system as per current codes and standards● Review consultants design● Scope and Design Electrification job.● Design new Building Electrical part K322 and K358
