I am an integral part of a dynamic Chartering team based in London, managing all commercial interests throughout Europe, Black Sea and Africa, In my role, I am required to cover all facets of chemical tanker trading, from spot and contract trading, voyage and time charters, to new build programs and pool management. Some notable aspects of my role include;• Commercially managing vessels within five different fleets, ranging from 13,000-49,000dwt ships and approximately. 10-15 vessels at any one time• Acquiring full understanding of multiple liquids markets, including specialized chemicals, aromatics, edible oils and clean/dirty petroleum products, not only in Europe, but applied globally.• Managing contracts of affreightment (COA), and other regular business opportunities, which include; vessel planning, program nominations, contract renewals, claims/issues, customer KPI reports, and actively seek new term opportunities.• Liaising daily with other offices and departments on allocation of tonnage, target and discuss commercial opportunities respective to divisional needs and develop mid/long term strategies to best trade the vessels. • Developing and presenting material to new/existing customers or traders on road shows, meetings and industry conferences. In addition, pool owners also require regular reports and analyses on trading activities• Engaging regularly with the operations team to coordinate daily affairs, identify and resolve issues, streamline processes, and participate in all relevant communications involving commercial interests.

• Management of numerous key regional customer accounts in India and the Middle East region. • Trade vessel space with regional customers and traders of spot shipments and establish new business opportunities. • Analyze vessel and network performance data to optimize vessel programming and future planning• Manage the regional operation and training of the IMOS (Integrated Maritime Operations System) application, recently introduced to the company.

• Managed multiple shipment accounts of major oil companies in this trade, inclusive of contract negotiations, bidding for new contract tenders and customer performance reporting • Selected as a specialist for the department during roll-out of new global operating system software. This involved product review, testing and strategy workshops to improve system capabilities and implementation within the company• Coordinated all internal transshipment activities for the fleet in Far East Asia, liaising with customers and with 3rd party tanker operators.

• Coordinated the chartering and scheduling of vessels for the inter-Asia regional fleet.• Managed contracts of affreightment and sourced spot-opportunity shipments in the Far East Asia region. • Planned the allocation of 3rd party vessels for in-house transshipment requirements within Asia. • Provided reports and analyses of transshipment for both internal and external presentations.

• Created and executed numerous promotional campaigns at various levels, liaising with media, publishers and corporate sponsors and other event management associations. • Developed strategic business partnerships between the IndoChine Group and other clients, enhancing the company’s presence in the regional and created cross-branding opportunities.• Organized and marketed the hospitality of many large corporate and sports events within Singapore
