I am a legally trained, theatre and dance producer with 20 years of experience in various capacities in the Singapore performing arts scene. I work on festivals, productions and other programmes of varying scales and across a range of contemporary disciplines and forms, both indoors and outdoors. I have particular interest in immersive and participatory work, puppetry and circus. At the Esplanade, I curate, produce, manage teams and budgets, negotiate contracts, build relationships, identify and bridge gaps, facilitate conversations and present and participate at international forums, as part of my work. I work on a range of programmes including Flipside, The Studios series and da:ns focus series.As an independent producer and arts manager, I have worked with some of Singapore's top musical, theatre and comedy talents, producing original work. I have led and been involved in organisational strategic planning, grant writing, fundraising, episodic video content creation, scriptwriting, photography and video shoots, conceptualising and managing marketing, publicity and social media campaigns, press and media relations, and producing musical theatre soundtracks and audio projects.I am a voracious podcast and audio book listener, and passionate reality TV armchair analyst. I love documentaries, True Crime, creative audio work and am inspired to tell intimate, extraordinary stories of the human experience. I was co-Founder of Telling Stories Live Singapore, a storytelling platform for heartbreaking, hilarious, or painfully mundane lived experience, performed by ordinary people in front of a live audience. I also write and perform from time to time, and provide voice over services.Currently obsessed with pottery, I enjoy spending time in the studio, working at the wheel and dreaming up glaze combos and hand built fantasies that will one day, hopefully, be brought to life.
