I was launched into the diversity and inclusion arena because of my own personal story of being a mother of a child who is deaf. My passion to help my child led to more than 12 years of experience creating, accelerating, and delivering diversity, learning, and inclusion projects, programs, and relationships. The lived experience of launching and scaling organizations helped develop my strengths as an innovative and strategic executive. In confidently influencing executive and senior leadership to drive large-scale, data-driven, and company-wide D&I initiatives, I have been recognized, nominated, and won awards as a thought leader for my ability to translate trends into innovative and creative practices. My strengths are articulating vision and driving cross-functional teams to deliver results. My greatest skills are persuasively communicating, facilitating, and leveraging out-of-the-box thinking and research to shape internal practices that build knowledge and awareness. For example, I was able to locate a small study revealing the key to empower deaf children to succeed in their ability to contribute to the digital age economically and socially. This required the courage to be disruptive to the status quo. My goal is to now apply my experiences and thought leadership to help businesses create authentic equity in their operations. I bring passion, sincere belief, and motivational team leadership to any organization that is curious, open, and continuously seeking new thinking and practices. Some of the valuable qualities I have to offer include organizational design, community outreach, strategic planning, educational leadership, and business development.
