Inverse Surveillance Project, by Assia Boundaoui, is a hybrid documentary, machine learning, and webAR project. Co-created with the immigrant-Muslim community the project explores life under FBI surveillance. The project is supported by the MIT Co-Creation studio, Sundance institution, and Ford Foundation.

Researched, explored, and visualized the Cooper Hewitt’s Pen data. Over 6 years, the Pen project offered visitors the ability to collect items during their visit. Marrow was a multi-sensor machine learning immersive theater, co-production of the National Film Board of Canada and Atlas V. The project invited participants to play in an AI scripted scene, surrounded by an audio-visual world conceived, manipulated, and generated by machine learning models. I co-founded an award-winning experience design studio with Ziv Schneider. The studio was a member for two years at NEW INC on the Immersive Experiences track and Technology Museum track.As part of the Raycaster, I developed, produced, and designed interactive web, mobile, VR, AR, machine learning projects, and physical installations featured in.

Volume was a 2D to 3D visual converter tool, based on cutting-edge machine learning research. The tool enabled the implementation of 2D materials within 3D immersive platforms. Volume was used by the Journalism program at Stanford University, MIT Open Documentary Lab, and international projects presented in film festivals, including Venice Festival. My.

Tzina is an Interactive room-scale webVR documentary. The project has featured internationally over 20 festivals worldwide, including Festival de Cannes, IDFA, SIGGRAPH, VICE.
