Sussex And Surrey

Oversaw Clinical Governance, Patient Safety and Operational Excellence training across three additional branches whilst also directing pharmacy operations at a flagship location. Managed 24 employees based within a surgery dispensing site of 26,000 items per month.  Executed internal audits to detect deficiencies in performance and scale solutions to bolster effectiveness.  Emerged as an effective team builder and skillful trainer, known for empowering and encouraging staff through an engaging mentorship approach.Key Achievements: Integral in composing new electronic dispensing SOP’s and contributing to development of existing protocol regarding patient safety. Consistently achieved a 'Good' rating at governance aspect of GPhC Inspection. Instrumental in deployed Advanced Services such as Flu Vaccination, EHC, and Chlamydia.  Administered various aspects of talent management lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding, and career development.

Supervised a team of 21 employees operating across dispensary and healthcare departments. Ensured adherence to all applicable quality assurance measures, operational guidelines, and applicable regulations.Key Achievements: Spearheaded a mission-critical project focused on building a new dispensary.  Promoted a culture of patient-focused care whilst also improving effectiveness and productivity. Obtained a promotion from Relief Pharmacist as a result of impactful contributions and raising service standards. Selected to appear in a National television advertisement to offer advice to new parents.

It was a privilege to have two tutors during my training year. The first was Suzanne Pickford who is now Clinical Governance pharmacist for Surrey and Sussex. Among many other lessons she taught me how to uphold standards whilst becoming a likeable leader. The second was Louisa Marchant, an advanced practitioner who imparted the clinical knowledge I needed to succeed.
