Both Sam and Shirlane have been active in the Cincinnati real estate community. The Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors honored Sam as the Realtor of the Year in 2001 and Shirlane has served on its Board of Directors.In 2014, The Nelson Team was expanded when Sam and Shirlane’s daughter-in-law, Sylvia Nelson, joined their team. Prior to becoming a realtor, Sylvia (who earned a chemical engineering degree from Florida A&M and a masters degree from Xavier University) worked for 17 years at Procter & Gamble with North American and global responsibilities for product development. She also has been involved with real estate investments for more than 15 years. This combination of experience brings wealth of knowledge and many areas of expertise to the team. Her wide breadth of knowledge and capabilities enhance the team’s ability to serve both buyers and sellers even better. The Nelson Team has enjoyed tremendous success in more than three decades in the real estate business in terms of sales performance and client satisfaction.
