I began my career with the UNM’s Earth Data Analysis Center in 1990, as the Geospatial Program Manager. In October of 2014, I was promoted to Director. As such, I am responsible for millions of dollars in basic and applied geospatial and related IT research projects, along with my amazingly accomplished staff and student employees. During my tenure with the EDAC I have been involved in collaborative projects with a wide variety of clients ranging from local to international programs. EDAC’s professional experience includes geospatial analysis, remote sensing/image processing, civil engineering projects, online mapping and applications, and full-stack IT programming. In addition, we also have a licensed drone pilot and fleet of drones. Our passion is solving problems using innovative geospatial, engineering and IT technologies, while making a positive difference in our community and beyond.
