I am a problem solver, creator, researcher and convenor. Over the past 20 years I have specialised in gathering diverse groups of people around sticky problems that need solving, to facilitate pathways to solutions, combining evidence with local wisdom and expertise to find smarter ways of doing business and education.⭐️ My sweet spot is working with early stage teams to grow a product or idea from germination to fruition. Most recently, I worked at a country level, where I joined the South African government to rethink the way that we educate our kids. Over a 3year period, we developed a framework for the Basic Education System (Pre k-12) that has now been adopted as the national framework to guide updates to South Africa's 1) Curriculum 2) Approaches to assessment 3) Teacher Development 4) Learning Materials 5) The Learning Environment. Incredible to have had to develop an evidence-based process that brought together thousands of stakeholders, to align on a whole child approach to African education.Open to senior executive roles in fast growing startups, social enterprises, corporate funders and philanthropies.
